How we are governedPAVE was born in 2007 because God implanted a dream in an individual’s heart to reach out to some of the poorest communities in North and Central India — caring for their social, emotional and spiritual well being.
Neighbours, not beneficiaries. We start with the person in front of us.
Classrooms, clinics, toilet blocks — work that shows up on the ground.
Honest, accountable service that treats every life as precious.
Skills and dignity that outlast us, so communities carry the work on.
We are committed to caring for the “whole” person, so we take a holistic approach to everything we do.
In every community we work in, we strive to share the love of Christ. Our aim is to empower people; our motive is to share Christ’s love.
Reading, writing and arithmetic for children of all ages in relocated slum communities.
Addressing the basic healthcare needs of underprivileged children and rural villages.
Tailoring and vocational skills that equip marginalised youth, girls and women.
Public toilet units that bring dignity, safety and health to entire neighbourhoods.
Sharing the love of Christ within every community we serve.
We experiment, try new approaches and focus on long-term capacity building.

“In September 2011 I spent two weeks finding out more about PAVE and the things they are getting up to. Before leaving for India my expectations were quite low as I intended to be thrown in to a new culture and new surroundings!”
Volunteer, intern, partner or give — every PAVER helps a family in North and Central India take the next step.
